Tangerine privacy notice
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This notice explains the roles of Ignivox and your organisation when using Tangerine.
Who is responsible
Ignivox Solutions Limited, trading as Ignivox Hub, is registered in England and Wales under company number 17465097. Registered office: 4 Paradise Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, S1 2DF.
Contact hello@ignivoxhub.com for privacy requests. Ignivox is responsible as controller for its own customer relationship, business correspondence and service-security purposes. Your organisation determines the purpose and content of survey work carried out in its workspace. Where we process that personal information on its behalf, we act as processor under the customer’s documented instructions. The role depends on the particular processing, not simply the name of a database field.
Information involved
- Account identifiers and contact information, such as an email address, organisation membership and assigned permissions.
- Authentication and security records associated with access, such as sign-in events, IP addresses and device or browser information where captured by the relevant service.
- Survey records supplied by your organisation: building addresses, surveyor details, photographs, notes, proposed works and generated packs. These can contain personal information where a person is identifiable.
- Support correspondence, feedback and business administration records.
Do not put passwords, authenticator recovery codes, unnecessary personal information or special category data into survey notes or support emails.
Purposes and lawful bases
For our controller activities, we use legitimate interests to manage business accounts and contacts, assist users, investigate faults and protect the service. We rely on contract where necessary to perform a contract with an individual, and legal obligation where applicable. Where another basis is needed for a new use, we will explain it before that use begins.
For customer-controlled survey information, your organisation is responsible for its lawful basis and privacy information. We process that information to provide the agreed service on its instructions, rather than choosing a separate lawful basis for the customer’s work.
Access and service providers
Your organisation manages who should have access to its workspace and who receives its exported packs. Ignivox and relevant service providers may need authorised access to operate and support the service. The providers, processing locations and any international-transfer safeguards applicable to your organisation should be recorded in its onboarding and data processing documentation. Contact us for the arrangements relevant to your organisation’s service.
Retention and leaving the service
Account and support information is retained for the active relationship and as needed for security, unresolved requests, disputes and legal obligations. Customer-controlled survey records are subject to the customer’s instructions and agreed retention arrangements. Export, return, deletion and any residual backup retention should be recorded in the customer agreement before production use. Keep copies of essential source records in line with your organisation’s record-keeping requirements.
Your rights
For personal information we control, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where the relevant legal conditions apply. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation, and to direct marketing at any time. If we rely on consent, you may withdraw it.
For survey information controlled by your organisation, contact its privacy contact or workspace administrator first. We will assist the controller as required by our data processing obligations. You may also contact us at hello@ignivoxhub.com or complain to the ICO.
